The Intermediate Sony Digital SLR is for photographers who are comfortable with the basic operation of their Sony DSLR camera. Attendees should have taken the Interchangeable Lens Camera Basics course or have applicable beginner knowledge of their Sony DSLR camera.

When beginning photographers feel the limitations of their camera's auto modes, it's time to start moving into manual modes and learning the intricate menus of their Sony DSLR camera. Instructor Mark Graeve will expand your basic understanding of functions like white balance, manual ISO, metering, Shutter and Aperture Priority modes, basic video functions, and various auto focusing techniques.
