Discover the power of this versatile software. This 2-Part class is designed for beginning Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 and 8 users with little or no experience with this program. We will cover the following subjects:
Section I, 1.5 Hours:
File organization and management, Getting familiar to the interface, Opening and resaving files, Defining the uses for main tools in the tools palette, Using the auto edit mode, Resizing files and cropping images and Using shortcut keys.
Section II, 3 Hours:
Color management of files, Understanding basic layers, Converting images to black and white, Eliminating red-eye, Straightening a photograph, Removing distracting objects from a photograph, Using texts and fonts, Making a photo collage and Getting an image ready for final print.

Photoshop CS2 thru CS4, a 3 part series. The Photoshop Instructional Series covers 9 total hours of instruction in 3 separate sessions and applies to Adobe Photoshop CS2-4. Professional Photographers Michael Cerizo and Tina Marie Vance-Crnic will guide you through the use of Photoshop to effectively enhance photographs for professional results and create masterpieces of art by learning to apply advanced techniques. These sections will be spaced 2 weeks apart to allow time for each attendant to practice newly learned techniques and get a handle on the information. There is a natural progression from the first session to the last that will help you retain the vast amount of information and techniques learned in this program.
The first 3 hours covers much of the basics and familiarizes the student to the vast workspace of the Photoshop software. The second 3 hour session covers more of the techniques and tools that will be the main applications a photographer uses on a daily basis. The final 3 hour session goes into more advanced ways of "working" an image. Each session is limited to 10 students.
