Join us for a special event where we receive exclusive early access to the park, instruction, assistance, and equipment from Tamron Tech Rep Jillian Bell. Along with instruction from award-winning wildlife photographer Mike Benkis.
We will use the day to photograph Buffalo, wolves, eagles, and much more.
During this event you will have the opportunity to photograph with the full lineup of Tamron lenses available, so make sure you come with your camera charged up and your memory cards ready to take photographs that will be some of the best in your portfolio. Lunch will also be provided.

7:00 am - Check in at the parking lot with Mike, Jerred and Jillian from Tamron.
7:15 am - Gather at the education building.
7:15-8:00 am - Mike Benkis park education and instruction. Question-and-answer session.
8:00-9:00 am - Guided shoot. Eagles, Owls, Bears, Wolves and more!
9:00 am-11:00 - Self-guided time, photographing the park with all that you have learned and with new lenses to test out from Tamron!
11:00-12:00 pm - Lunch and socialize.
12:00-1:00 pm - Self-guided time, again taking photographs using new knowledge and lenses from Tamron.
2:00-3:00 pm - Meet back at Rockbrook for photo review and a celebration of images!

About Your Presenter:
Tamron Tech Rep, Jillian Bell
JILLIAN BELL is a member of Tamron’s National Technical Team. Tastefully merging form and artistic flare, her emphasis always lies in the subtle details. Jillian enjoys educating and collaborating with photographers at any level. Specializing in choosing the right equipment for varying needs, she uses photography as a useful tool, and her goal is to inspire others and help them to build on their photographic skills to create better, more consistent results.
Special Guests:
Mike started in Wildlife photography back in 2014 and has had his wildlife work published by the Omaha World Herald, Nebraskaland Magazine, Omaha Audubon Society, and Nebraksa Games and Parks. He has always been passionate about wildlife, especially birds since he was young. This passion led him to join the Boy Scouts where he reached the rank of Eagle Scout. As an adult, Mike has volunteered for organizations such as Fontenelle Forest and the Omaha Audubon Society. His interests in Falconry eventually led him to photography. He and his wife Amy started to get into Portrait work in 2016, which lead to a shared passion for fine art and fashion photography.
About Jerred Zegelis
Jerred or Mr. Z, as his students fondly know him, has been a photography teacher and photographer for more than 18 years. Jerred's goal for every class is for each student to find their voice through photography.
Jerred's former students include fashion photographers, landscape and art photographers, wedding and portrait photographers.
