Tamron 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (Model B061) is in Development!
One Lens That Covers Wide-Angle To Ultra-Telephoto-and Everything In Between! For Nikon Z Mount and Canon RF Mount.
Exciting news for Nikon Z and Canon RF APS-C mirrorless shooters—Tamron is bringing its versatile 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (Model B061) lens to your mount! Originally released in 2021 for Sony E and FUJIFILM X mounts, this all-in-one zoom lens quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its incredible 16.6x zoom range—the first of its kind for APS-C mirrorless systems.
Now, that same flexible, travel-ready lens is headed to Nikon Z and Canon RF APS-C mirrorless cameras. While pricing and release dates haven’t been announced yet, this is one lens worth getting excited about.
One Lens, Endless Possibilities
Covering everything from wide-angle (18mm) to ultra-telephoto (300mm), this lens is built to handle just about any kind of photography you throw at it—landscapes, portraits, travel, wildlife, sports, and more. On an APS-C sensor, you're getting a full-frame equivalent of roughly 27–450mm for Nikon and 28.8–480mm for Canon. In other words: serious reach.
Compact, Capable, and Ready for Adventure
Despite its powerful zoom range, the 18-300mm is compact enough to toss in your bag for hikes, road trips, or city strolls. At the wide end, it focuses as close as 5.9 inches, with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2—meaning you can even get up close for detailed shots of flowers, food, or small objects.
Smooth Autofocus and Steady Shots
Inside, Tamron has packed in its VXD linear motor for fast, accurate, and quiet autofocus—great for shooting moving subjects like birds, pets, or kids. And their built-in VC (Vibration Compensation) helps keep your shots sharp even when you're zoomed way in or shooting in low light.
